Biography
Dr Karol Hausman is a world-class expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and robotics, and the co-founder of the $11 billion startup Physical Intelligence. He was born in and graduated from the I Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Koszalin. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw University of Technology, where he earned his master's degree. He also studied at the Technical University of Munich, and earned his PhD in robotics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Before founding his company, he worked, among others, at Google, DeepMind and Stanford University. His startup aims to bring AI into the physical world by building a universal model that can control any robot to perform any task.
